Morgan’s Work

Morgan ensures UA branding and accessibility (WCAG) standards are consistently applied across all marketing initiatives while managing the design, production, and branding approval of materials including graphics, signage, and promotional items. She developed and implemented a social media strategy that increased student engagement and generated 1.1 million impressions between October 2024 and August 2025. In addition, she guides a student marketing team with a focus on leadership development and professional growth, and she oversaw the UREC website transition to the new UA Theme 3 platform.

Morgan serves as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at West AlabamaWorks!, where responsibilities encompass crafting press releases, securing media coverage, and developing engaging social media content.
2023-2024 -
Morgan holds the position of Social Media Coordinator for The University of Alabama's Million Dollar Band. In this capacity, responsibilities include content creation, social media oversight, photography, and, notably, coverage of Saturday football games.
2022-Present -
Morgan secured a summer internship at GNHA in Nashville, Tenn., focusing on communication-centric projects. Responsibilities included database management, website development and maintenance, and social media engagement. Additionally, Morgan had the opportunity to actively participate in commission meetings, contributing insights on Broadway’s transportation and street vendor regulations.

HospitalityTN, located in Nashville, Tenn. hired Morgan as a summer intern to work on communication based projects. This includes database management and social media content.

The ABA has contracted Morgan for three years to layout and design their 2021, 2022 and 2023 Conference and Hall of Fame programs. In collaboration with ABA, Morgan has also constructed digital ads for Alabama Public Health and created a print advertisement for the Tennessee Broadcasters Association.

For a span of two years, Morgan contributed as a graphic designer on the promotions team during an internship with WVUA23. Her involvement included collaborating with various organizations such as Tuscaloosa’s Food and Wine Festival, West Alabama Humane Society, Skill Trade of West Alabama, the All of Us Research Program and West Alabama Food Bank. During this time, Morgan played a key role in crafting digital ads, designing t-shirts, and producing promotional social media content.

The Canine Classic 5k is a run promoted by the West Alabama Humane Society. Morgan was selected to create the 2022 t-shirt design for the event.

In spring 2022, Morgan was a writer and editor for a UA publication, Platform Magazine. During the semester Morgan produced articles and blogs that are published in Platform Magazine.

Morgan worked with Turning Point during CreateAthon with UA’s Capstone Agency. CreateAthon is a 24 hour lockin in Reese Phifer where teams work on nonprofit clients all night. Morgan served as the graphic designer for her team.

West AlabamaWorks! student employment initiative, I.G.N.I.T.E., took to the field to help increase awareness about the program among high school students. Schools in Tuscaloosa County and City and rural county schools in the West Alabama region received custom banners to proudly display in their football stadium. In addition to creating a banner for the school, a social media campaign was also designed and generated 11,000 impressions over a 30 day period on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

Morgan has collaborated with the Alabama Broadcasters Association to design conference and Hall of Fame programs from 2021 to 2025, creating covers, ads, and cohesive layouts for each publication. She also designed a magazine for the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama’s annual Worlds of Work event. Most recently, Morgan redesigned the WOW student guidebook, transforming it into an engaging, student-centered resource for 9th graders. Through focus groups, she gathered direct feedback from students, learning which sections were most valuable and which needed to be reimagined—ultimately creating a more immersive and impactful experience.
